Important travel information.

The part of the A21 that bypasses Tonbridge will be closed from 10pm Friday 14th for the week. The good news is that, because of engineering works, there will be no service from Redhill but there will be an improved train service from London!

Direct trains will leave from both London Victoria and London Charing Cross (Normally only Charing Cross). The trains from Victoria will also call at Bromley South which may be of help for some people.
Trains from the coast and the Medway Valley will run to Tonbridge as normal.

So why not let the train take the strain? Itís only a short walk from Tonbridge Station.

If you usually use the part of the A21 in question, you may want to consider leaving the M20 at Junction 2 and taking the A227 to Tonbridge or leaving the M26 at junction 2A taking the B2016 and A26 into Tonbridge.

In recent years, we have been fortunate in that there have been long queues of people waiting to get into the show, as we opened.  We do try and get people into the show as fast as we can, but if you are attending you can help as well.  If you do not wish to spend a long time queueing (and I believe the weather for Saturday is not great), then can I suggest delaying turning up until late morning/lunchtime, as the queue should have gone by then.  If you do want to get into the show at 10.00am (-ish) then can I please ask that you have the correct admission money with you.  PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT ACCEPT CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS FOR PAYMENT ON ADMISSION, OR ON THE CLUB'S SECOND HAND STAND.  There are several ATM's available close to the Angel Centre, should you need to get some money out.

Maybe have more than one ticket desk?

It may be too late for this now.

We have two people at the desk at any one time. There is no room for anymore. We also "pre sell" along the queue before opening to speed things along. The queue moves quickly but it's not nice if the queue extends outside when it's wet and windy.

You will be surprised how many people start looking for money or asking if we take cards once we have their tickets ready.

Thanks for the swift reply.

It was a bit raw last year!

Usually a good show, so looking forward to it.

Simon
