Austin K2 van variants 3D printed. 1940s and 1950s
« on: January 12, 2020, 06:42:22 PM »
I just received some prints of 4 different vans suitable for 1940s and 1950s layouts. As received, just given a light primer coat prior to sanding some uneven bits. All have a chassis and separate wheels. Managed to damage the left side headlamp on the fire ATV.

The N models are linked here below the photos-

Plain Van (ex ATV)

Bus ex ATV. Kent County Council had some similar ambulance conversions.

Fire services ATV. Usually towed trailer pumps, but post war some were fitted with pumps. My local station at Dover used one as a Salvage Tender without a pump. Print includes a ladder.

Welfare canteen van - the young Princess Elizabeth is reputed to have served refreshments from one of these.

The designer is Ronald Visser from Holland where many K2 ATVs found a second home. He was happy to resize his models for me.
