Luckily for me I don't have room on my version for that bit of wasteland just behind the tracks.
Whilst my platforms are correct scale length for the 1960s I have had to drop pretty much a whole HST length between the little footbridge and Langstone Rock. Compressing and omitting things isn't great but has to be done.  At least mine will end up being a prettier version, while hopefully still keeping the important bits.

Looking good Chris, I do love how the footbridge steps were built to mimmick Brunels pumping house towers at Starcross.

Now here's an unusual view. If I was making it up I wouldn't put a set of steps straight up the cliffs. Real life can be stranger than fiction.
