Function decoder for the Kato interior lighting
With the function decoder K10950-D3 (made by Zimo) you can switch the interior lighting of Kato.
Matching interior lighting: K11211 and 11212 as well as K11213 and K11214.
The decoder is identical in dimensions to the FR11 from Kato.

€21 for the decoder (per coach I presume), plus £43 for the kit to actually add lighting? You've got to really want interior lighting!

Yep. I was already looking at £31 for a six piece lighting kit for my seven car Le Train Bleu. Four cars are sleepers and one a baggage car. So I was going to just light the two diners. If I wanted to get funky I could add just lightbars to the diners and add lightbars+DCC to the sleepers - train pulls away with all coach lights on, a little way down the track sleeper car lights switch off
“We are indebted to those soldiers who served with courage and distinction to bring peace to Northern Ireland,” UK Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson said. “The welfare of our former service personnel is of the utmost importance.”

Don't shoot the messenger - I didn't know there was a Kato coach decoder!

No shooting was done, just bemused. Kato are often held up as a bastion of good value, but you're forced down the route of a prioprietary decoder at significant expense, because of their recalcitrance when it comes to DCC! But then I don't really get interior lighting, and certainly see little point in DCCing it.
