What's wrong with this picture?

There are quite a few SNCF CC 72000 diesels available on eBay at the moment and a rather attractive BB 67400 - would they do? My gut says 'no', that it'd more likely be an electric loco.

Can any of the forum's continental experts help me please?

Stock of this type did not run on the Train Bleu after the 1960s.

The coaches are a preserved set so can be run anywhere really. The Nostalgie Orient Express vehicles ran around Europe for some years before being dumped. The are now being revived

You've probably got the jist of it all now as regards the actual provenance of the vehicles modelled so it is really up to you. Above is a link regarding a French video and detailing locos used.

Cheers

I do like the 2D2 9105 - a very interesting looking loco. Lots of detail on the main-frames.

I was following a couple of Startrain CC 7100s on ebay, but they were beyond my budget - the BR 110 I've ended up with was a steal. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to revisit the CC 7100. I even found a few after-market detail products for the Startrain model.

Cool video - wonderful modelling. I also liked that the video featured a cameo from one of my other French idols, Le Capitole.

Sadly I don't think that the 2D2 9105 has been released in "N". It was in "HO"
