Offsetting Cobalt IP Digital via fulcrum bar
« on: September 22, 2019, 10:24:49 PM »
Looking for some advice as I canít find what I need on DCC Concepts site.

I want to shift a cobalt ip digital slightly offset from Peco code 55 point.
So normally you use the centre hole in the fulcrum bar and align this to the switch mechanism, but there are other holes in the fulcrum bar and a DCC Concepts manuals just says you can use the holes to offset the motor.
BUT, I canít get my head around this and short of setting up a test rig, thought Iíd ask.

There is advice around on how to rig up an offset using steel wire and a brass tube, but nothing as simple as just using the other holes in the fulcrum bar.  I only need to shift the motor a small amount.

Has anybody done this offsetting. If so, how does it work?
