A Southern vs a Northern Hemisphere final would be more interesting to me, but Wales is a fine team that deserves support. May the better team win no matter what happens! Unfortunately, we won't be able to see the game here in Oz unless we subscribe to pay TV. Bit late for me anyway, but I can look forward to waking up to the result.  :beers:

Are they open there?  ;D

I popped in the pub yesterday at about 3pm UK time. It had been open since 8.30am for 'breakfast'. The usual suspects were a bit worse for wear and one guy was asleep in the corner.

You can't drink tea watching rugby

Cheers weave  :beers:

9 all. Keep on drinking, it seems to be working. Come on Wales!

Unfortunately it was not to be, apparently. I didn't get to see it at all, due to a family member being on his last legs (a budgie). I'll look at a replay today.

The scoreline looks close.... was it a good game?

Still no satellite signal but sounded exciting on the radio. Think Wales were unlucky but you'll have to wait for a better pundit.

Pretty sure Wales did themselves proud though.

PS Sorry about the budgie  :(

IMHO, a very good game....

best [just] team won [just] but could have gone either way.

amazing how one kick could win / lose a game.

final should be great

A great game I would say, as testified by the low scores. The difference, one penalty, could have been awarded to and won by either, so pretty much a draw. We get to play the All Blacks Friday; pretty much how we expected to finish this, except we wanted it to be Saturday!

sorry, isn't it GB vs Springboks ?

thought we'd already beaten the Haka

It most certainly isn't GB v Springboks.
If you know someone who's depressed, please resolve never to ask them why. Depression isn't a straightforward response to a bad situation; depression just is, like the weather.Try to understand the blackness, lethargy, hopelessness, and loneliness they're going through. Be there for them when they come through the other side. It's hard to be a friend to someone who's depressed, but it is one of the kindest, noblest, and best things you will ever do."

Afternoon all in Antipodeanland,

3.25 am here in Blighty but had to let the dogs out (woof woof woof woof woof). So, just wondering if you Southern Hemisphere folk are A. going to watch the game? and B. who are you supporting?

I've actually got a Saturday off work so might have a few 'agricultural champagne' (that's cider) buck's fizzes with my toast in about 5 hours time  :).

Might have one now  ;).

Enjoy the game.

Cheers weave  :beers:

Unfortunately I have to help run the Calcutta at the club that I'm a director of for this coming Tuesday's Melbourne Cup.

So I'll only have one eye on it at best.  :(
