Has anyone used the.tts sound chips in a Dapol hst

 Yes tts fits the dapol hst but its terrible ... Yes it makes a  sound and thats about it..

Yeah, finished mine yesterday.  I agree itís pretty woeful. Some of the TTS chips are good. The MTU HST is not one of them. Havenít heard the Valenta one.

I did a dapol 66 with the tts the other week and i think its pritty damn faultless sound.. Theres a small film on my youtube channel if you want to have a look.... 😉

FWIW Iíve got a Zimo fitted HST too, and that's superb, and you can just use the 6-pin decoders.

I used nearly every sound provider over the years and there is a lot of genetic/speeded up sounds to create the higher reving ect and ive come to the conclusion legomanbiffo provides the best sounds... There are a fair few different versions which are updated ect. You really do get what you pay for these days ...
