I am in Switzerland right now on a business trip having meetings with Nestle. I saw this on the wall in their office this afternoon, and thought of Bealman's adventures featuring (and Railsquid's experience with) Japanese chocolate....this poster is for real, not Photoshopped, but they don't have any samples here for me to eat. Anyone tried it?

The longer one lives in Japan, the more one is increasingly "whatever" about this kind of thing.

If I want decent chocolate without paying through the beak, I go to my local Seiyu which purveys a variety of 200g ASDA chocolate bars which are made in Germany (though I am not sure whether that particular supply chain will hold up after October).

I was thinking about the part in the supply chain where the German-made chocolate gets sent to the UK first.

After it is made with British milk solids. :D

I don't think the last Toblerone bar I bought was made in Switzerland, either. ;D

I said to myself, "Squiddy - it's 2019, I bet I can easily find videos of people attempting to smoke Kit Kits", and indeed our civilisation has fallen that far.

I wish Japan wasn't the only place that got a variety of Kit-Kat flavors... some of them don't sound half bad. The original is fine, but variety helps. I could probably get them imported but I don't think I want to make the effort.

Jim Beam. :)

Jack Daniels is from our neighboring state, Tennessee (nothin' against them, but Beam pretty much made right here in my hometown).

I don't think they'd work as Kit-Kat flavors though.
