Hi Diane,
Plan looking good, and I may be missing something, but how do you get a loco or rolling stock from the roundhouse or inner sidings to the inner track as things stand?
Delboy.
She who must be obeyed says I am spending too much time on this forum. I love her dearly but what does she know?

The crossings are double slips which allows access.

There are 2 slips at the front?

All 3 crossings are double slips.

The first of 6 baseboard sections has been built it took about an hour with nothing more than PVA, a small drill, panel pins and a pin hammer.

Hi Di,

Just thought I'd share this with you. Just bought this gem off Ebay. What do you think? Isn't it a beast? Hoping to get it on Tuesday. Always wanted something like this! :bounce:

Nice One Chris :jealous:

There is a Rivarosi Mallet very similar from ??Switzerland going on Ebay at the moment. The bidding starts at about 50.00 and there are 7 days left if you are interested.

I obtained one of these Rowa mallets 40 years ago. Still runs a treat. Mine looks like the same model shown by Chris. The Rivarossi version followed Rowa, but is pretty much the same loco with a few modifications. Not so finely detailed as the latest challengers and big boy models from other manufacturers, but the old model still rates an A rating on Spookshow.

Mine is made by Bemo. They say it runs well.

I did a full set up of the boards and legs @ the 5 Towns NGS meet to day, it takes about 30 mins to erect and about the same to take down. I forgot to take a picture of it but I did surface the boards with cork whilst they were up. My legs made from home base trestles modified to be taller https://www.homebase.co.uk/pine-wood-trestle-leg_p276209] https://www.homebase.co.uk/pine-wood-trestle-leg_p276209 I was lucky when I bought mine a few weeks back they were on special at 2.50 a set. My mods went down well with the other members of the group and I was asked by several members where I had sourced them.

I have found a way to fit Toothill 2 in @ home, I have built a rack so it can sit above my British layout Plymbridge. So I can now start laying track, TrackShack will be getting a sizeable order to get the bits I am missing.
