David,

Are you going to do the whole cabside lining as a transfer or just the cutouts?

Regards,

Alex

I might eventually do the entire side but I want to confirm the curves and fit with the current sheet which has 3 loco types on it.

If there is demand I will do a custom sheet.

Looks great and you know its going to run well since its a Union Mills, win win  :beers:

Wonder if Colin sends all of the orders for these out at once ?   :hmmm:

Craig

UM is a 2-man operation.  They lubricate, test & run in each engine before packing & despatching.  To judge from comments on here about dates of receipt etc., they seem to do this in batches, in order of receipt of order.  Mine arrived today & looks great; haven't been able to test it yet, but their quality control is excellent, so if it doesn't run, it'll be down to my electrics.
NB:- It's almost 21 m/m over crank pins, which Colin seems to think some people may find a problem for clearing platform edges.  My Fairburn 4P Tank, for instance, is less than 19 m/m over the tanks and a bit more than 20 m/m over the valve gear.  According to Colin, the NEM standard for platform edges is 25 m/m, so there should be no problem if we stick to that.  I suppose the amount of "waggle" could be relevant.

:thankyousign: Thatís looking good canít wait for you to do a set with the buffer beam number on ,if the tender Crest is done on its own that makes a huge improvement and if the lining is done as two sheets I think I could manage to fit them myself , I would probably order two or three complete sets though just in case I messed one up .I would probably leave the loco as I donít think I could do the lining on that it looks so fine on the real loco .

That lined version looks good.

Collected mine from the Delivery Office today. Seems to have lost a front buffer somewhere though and I can't see it in the packaging anywhere.

May have to buy a second one if there's another production run in the future.
