Sorry think you've lost me there. Is this revealing my literary/ popular culture ignorance?  :hmmm:

I reckon Dannyboy wants you to make a pair of rollerskates in N Matt.

Question, is that 1:148, 1:150 or 1:160 Danny....

I've been putting this off for ages but the goods yard crossing needed safety barriers! Need to paint and glue.

I've chatted with my auntie re. my dad's and uncle's eurotrips. Apparently for trip no 1. they took it turns riding the pale green Sunbeam (which technically was my uncle's) with one riding pillion. Then on trip 2 uncle rode the Sunbeam and dad rode a black BSA of this sort...

Sorry Matt, just my weird, (some would say!), sense of humour.

……………………………..

I like the barriers Matt. They are a good representation of the German style ones. Do they operate?
I assume, now that the Globibahn is in Switzerland, that it is one of those areas where the DB is responsible for much of the infrastructure.

Cheers John,

What I'll prob do is make the proposed blinking/ red lights in triangular format shields to blend with SBB better!

I've found a format to do the many scratch built chairs and tables required on the layout. Now it's mass production! reminds me I also need to do sun brolley experimentation.

A spot of sunbathing, not too far from the crepes stand (which may be getting some more jaunty colours!)
