:hellosign: :confusedsign: hi all, just joined the forum. Not great at using my pad and a bit slow because of a stroke. Have changed from OO to N because I can't bend down because I fall over and needed a track that I could put together without needing to solder. It is my hope to put together a steam museum by the side of a village with a tour through the countryside. So just bought a bit of track (kato) being a pensioner it was a bit of a stretch but I will be letting it grow as the years go by.

Hi and welcome to the forum @D. Allan S . I think you have made the right decision in going for Kato Unitrack. There are a lot of fans of Unitrack on the forum, (including me) and there are a lot of hints and tips. It might be a bit more expensive to start with, but there is no expense needed for points and their motors, no soldering unless you want to, (I could go on) and very few negatives. Some dislike the plastic ballast and rigid track pieces, but both are easy to circumnavigate. Good luck.
David.

You are right about there being a lot of good stuff. There's plenty of knowledgeable and talented people on the forum, so 'fill your boots'. Any plans yet? There are some nosy people about, so a bit in the 'Introduction' thread would be appreciated.  :beers:
David.
