Worthing MRC Exhibition, Worthing 28th/29th September
« on: September 28, 2019, 07:22:32 PM »
Went across to Worthing today to their local show. With my N gauge hat on I wanted to go and see Burshaw North Western which was on the cover on the NGS Journal at the start of the year and looked a very interesting layout. There was a good selection of layouts from all scales, and the Worthing clubs own Loftus Road is enjoyable layout to simply pass the time watching trains pass by. Good trade support too.

Burshaw North Western

Ponts Mill - N Gauge, set in Vermont

Titling - N Gauge Southern Germany

Loftus Road - OO

Dock Green - O

Normany Junc. Shed & Works - O

Decent show I thought. Burshaw North Western was superb, and I always enjoy Loftus Road; James Makinís work is stunning. Sadly mini-njee20 enjoys O gauge steam, for which his 2 year old attention span is excellent. 30 seconds at anything I like and heís bored

Ta muchly for the pics.
I've seen Burshaw a few times and really like it, especially the rarer locos spotted 'on shed'.
'Loftus Road', although 'Orribly Oversize' looks to be extremely well modelled.

Yes, one of those where loads of stock is kit/scratchbuilt, I saw a prototype HST, APT-E, Kestrel, Co-Bos, tamper and an 85, all of which were nicely done. Lots of activity too.
