Buckjumpers Gobblers and Clauds. , By Jim Hill

Book Review: The story of Jim Hill, employed by Great Eastern in 1913 as a cleaner until he retired in 1960 as a driver on LNER. An interesting and varied life on the railways, showing great insight into the complexities of a fireman and a driver.
Many photographs of the locomotives he fired and drove.
A very good read, just a 112 pages but packed with stories about his life on the railway.
