RAF Green Goddess - pending from Oxford Diecast

|The version of the green Goddess I was in, had rounder "wings" over the front round the head lamps.

We put RAF in Big dayglow letters on the side instead of white Royal Air Force and red stripes, we also had a "borrowed" RAF flag flying from the back... and a reporter still came up and said.... "what regiment are you from"

So it will be out with the file, and paint remover for a little modification

I remeber a hellish few days at Catterick doing the training to cover the firemans strike, unfortunately I never got deployed.  I wonder if they do a version where the water tank has fallen off the back  ;D

Need some more open landrovers .... or better: some palletised lightweights ready to parachute drop! Wonder why OD have not done another batch of open LandRovers .... the original batch sold out in record time.  There is (or was) a 1/160 version (Wiking or similar) in self-coloured plastic but it’s nowhere near as nice a model as the OD version!

More expensive but considerably more convincing efforts by Sankei.
“We are indebted to those soldiers who served with courage and distinction to bring peace to Northern Ireland,” UK Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson said. “The welfare of our former service personnel is of the utmost importance.”

I used Arnold kits on my Germanic layout “Reichenbach Landestreifen”, black and white pictures on Flickr, if anyone is interested: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmDuNDtW
