Just lately I've been listening to Radio Caroline, I dunno how but they seem to have somehow retained that character/mood they had way back all those years ago when I was a teenager!

More adds though then there was back then!  ::)

I don't listen to the radio or Podcasts, I haven't done so for years and years.  I just play the albums on my phone!  I bought a new radio a month back which is portable, incredibly loud and connects to my phone via Bluetooth.  It has DAB on it and is crystal clear, but the adverts put me off of listening to the radio stations.

Anyway, I'm just an album playing person!  :D

Me too. Never listen to radio, even in the car.

I wouldn't know what a podcast is!

I must admit to using digital, though.... got me favourite albums on a usb stick plugged permanently into the car stereo.

And I remember Radio Caroline too, by the way.  :beers:
Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

I listen to radio but mainly news stations, especially when I'm in the kitchen.

I have a Geneva model M sound system there which is a radio/CD player with an iphone dock.

Best regards,

Joe

Got a DAB radio in the car but the number of decent stations/reception is rubbish up here. Classic Rock is a great station but I can't stand adverts. Like George, I've got a 16GB stick with 7000 songs on it so that's what I use 99% of the time. There's a CD player in the car which has never been used.
For whatever reason I cannot listen to speech  in the car as I can't take it in, whereas music just floats in one side and out the other (nowt to stop it). Years ago someone lent me Terry Pratchetts Discworld on CD but I couldn't multi task i.e. drive and take what was said in ::)

im the opposite,I rarely play full albums but the radio is on all day, every day.
freedom of speech is but a  fallacy.it dosnt exist here

Me in the car on my own, usually Radio 3. Ditto in the railway room.

Both of us in the car, memory stick with thousands of pop/modern tracks (Philistine perhaps but Bon Jovi is banned while I'm the car. Make that anywhere;)

At home, eclectic mix of classics and modern stuff. We have wind-up gramophones and 78RPM records, turntables for the vinyl collection plus a collection of electronic gizmos.

In the car it's either Radio Five Live and in particular Test Match Special which I rate as the best thing on radio, Radio Four ofr Talksport.
If none of those it's my own music from my phone.
Can't really take to music radio stations that play run of the mill/middle of the road music.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Caroline doesn't play too much middle of the road, that's why they claim to be Europe's first album station!
