Very odd not my idea of a collectable but each to his or her own

I just bought a DCC concepts one and strangely it arrived as I was reading this thread.  From the NGS sale so only £50 not sure if I will need it but I just unpacked it and used to test run a chassis I am converting to DCC

To be honest, I thought as "collectable" in this context to mean you would want one of them, not a dozen or so. I'm actually quite fond of them (the originals at least) and I'd love to have one of the shop loco testers that they produced for the model shops in "my collection" of model railway items.

As with everything though, there's always more than one interpretation.
