What you will need are Beer barrels and lots of them. There is an ebay seller who does packs of 6 stacks for about 5.  You get 77 Barrels for that price. Sometimes they go as part of sets with crates and coal sacks starting at 99p.  I have bought them in the past and are a cheap but good alternative to the ratio/peco etc.

They are coloured brown but will benefit from running a black fine tip pen around the barrel rings.

Thanks for the recommendation Jerry - I'll be adding these items once the bulk of the work is done and I think you may have just saved me a bit of procrastination time!

I hope this will be of interest.
As suggested above I got loads of barrels off eBay and plenty of other stuff to have lying around.

I have built a rail loading bay around the back of the brewery. I see this as where the hops etc are delivered.

I took a photo of the brewery, shrunk it down using PowerPoint and used it to make a sign for the entrance.

Looks excellent. I particularly like the scaffolding.
If it looks right then it most probably is right.

The scaffolding was made by a friend as a joke but I liked it so kept it.

Really nice work. I would give the beer barrels a wash of dark brown matt paint though.

This is good stuff, I may have to overcome my lethargy and do some work on my brewery.

Thanks for the kind comments. The layout was at a show last weekend so I was able to take a photo from behind the layout. The vans carrying hops have just arrived and been shunted into the brewery loading platform.
