You have to ask what would prompt Farish to say to Hattons (and only Hetton) that they are not getting the new products.

The only thing I can think of is that Hattons have a credit line on product in stock and pay Farish on sale, and they do not have enough credit to place new orders.

Alternatively Farish may want advanced payment and Hattons wont/cant do this, but these are both guesses.

Hattons have apologised and posted on RMWeb that this is a system error at their end and will be corrected tomorrow morning. None of the items have been cancelled by Bachmann. Pre-orders will be reinstated.

Still is very poor for their staff to have been referring potential customers towards Bachmann to find out what has happened.

Probably do not have a staff member on the NGF, unless someone knows differently. Clearly they have a presence on RMWeb.

Hi

Probably don't know it exists however RMWeb with its ties to BRM is more widely known.

The problem is computers do not say

"Are you sure?"
"Are you really sure?"
"Are you really really sure?"
"Are you really really really sure?"
"OK I will do it but its on your head"

If the DCC chip says that to me it's out the airlock post-haste!

I used to have a computer with a HAL9000 boot up message "I'm completely operational, and all my circuits are functioning perfectly."
