class 158/170 Chassis

I am looking for a class 158 or 170 chassis to power a kit built multiple unit. Due to the period I model this type of unit has provided little interest previously. I would prefer the version fitted with the 5 pole motor, but I am not sure which type of motor is fitted to current new supply. If they are now fitted with can motors is it possible to tell which type is fitted.

Could any please advise me.

Class 170's have 5 pole motors, the newer 158's have CAN, class 159 and older 158's have 5 pole
