Chester Railways, the railways of Chester and Saltney, a photographic history., By Merseyside Railway History Group

Book Review: A well presented hardback book printed on good quality paper.  This book covers Chester and its environs (according to the 1906 railway clearing house plan) only.  As the authors point out Chester has not been covered in its own book.
The B&W photographs in the book are very good and span the history of Chester, and all the photographs have good descriptions.  The contents cover Chester General, Northgate, the sheds, signal boxes and the wagon works.  A good addition to my collection of books covering the borders and North Wales.
