Great Western Branch Line Termini, By Paul Karau

Book Review: Picked up a second hand copy of this book recently from ABE Books and what a little gem.

Originally the book was available in two parts but a later printing combined parts 1 and 2 into a single volume.

Has loads of very useful pictures and track plans for the following stations:

Part 1
Fairford
Lambourn
Tetbury
Wallingford
Watlington

Part 2
Abbotsbury
Ashburton
Hemyock
Mortonhampstead
Princetown

I bought this specifically for the Fairford Branch information as I've been hunting for more info on how the Fairford Shed operated and how the trains were marshalled.  This has really come up trumps as it has details of a typical day's operations including what time the crews logged on and how the trains were made up and despatched etc.

Yep, sounds really good. Isn't that the guy who kicked off the MRJ?
