Nice one.
The fascia is a nice detail.
I'd be interested to see more (detail) pictures.

It does look a lovely layout, epitomising the small Scottish branch terminus. I can imagine those small Sulzer Type 2's pottering about on trains around this layout :)

Cheers,
Paul

Would you say it has a Scottish branch feel to it?

Definitely - especially with that distillery behind the station. I take it, that it makes Cardhu whisky! :beers:

You may need few NGS distillers wagon kits, but I seem to have bought the last one - sorry :(
However the polybulk kits still seem to be available.
Cheers
Paul

I have been working on the station approach, the switching track was removed which left a deep turntable looking well, the fiddle yard board was removed and placed on part of a hanger glued down and screwed to hold it down while the glue dried

Also changing the station from terminus to through, it was a block of wood that was nailed and no amount of pring would lift it off so I drilled it untill there was nothing left here it is in stages

a lot more work has commenced on Cardhu Network Rail have been working hard with local contractors to get the station up to modern standards

a few minutes later and we have this

the glue from where a wall used to be at the end of the platform was removed with a swan morton knife swan morton blade 10A you can get them from Squires

80% of the original platforms were ripped up with a struggle and replaced with a mixture of Peco, Ratio, Kestrel, paper and card

the track laying is going well too
