I'm lucky to have the complete collection of D'Agostini British Steam Railways DVD's. I'm just watching them all again with great pleasure. One thing I've noticed is that many of the kettles have a distinct wobble. Particularly the 2 cylinder locos.

Now I've always been a bit wary of N gauge locos that 'wobble' a bit and wondered whether to send them back to the retailer.  Now, however, I'm beginning to think I should send them back if they don't wobble.
Life is so difficult don't you think?? What's your opinion fellow N gauge forum colleagues???
:D :beers:
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

Bear in mind that at the scale distance we view locos, any wobbles would almost certainly be invisible if viewing from the same distance in real life.

Wobbles should be rejected - they'll cause uneven wear in the long run.

Alan

Sure, though I have actually heard this argument fielded in more serious circles as justification to keep a duffer!

Cheers,
