Would the coaches from the Cumbrian set be suitable for a 1980's West Highland Line layout

Thanks

Agrippa

I think they're blue and grey Mk1s  so I would say yes.

Mk1 full brakes were also used on these services.  I well remember using these because
many people including myself were going on hiking and camping trips and the Mk1
open style coaches had little space for stowing huge backpacks which many of
us carried. In fact on one crowded train on which I was going a short distance
I spent the journey seated on the floor of the full brake which also carried
bikes and  packages.

I guess I'm lucky that my Yodel guy actually has a brain

always state to Liverpool 'use Royal Mail', but stuff like ballast [too heavy] flex track [too long] and paint [ too explosive, even water based acrylics] have to come via Yodel.

paint delivery today, some time since Yodel has called, and the guy said ' if you hadn't answered, I know it goes ..... [my safe place]

I must just be lucky.
