George, you have given me an idea for a new project.... I build small digital voice recorders and then put them under my DC layout at strategic locations.... running water beside stream, neighing horses beside horses, etc operated by push button on the layout's fascia.

Record Mr Whippy, put speaker and push button near the van, and, voila!

Sounds good to me
Another house move despite "never again" has given me a second floor layout so Geominster Mainline & Heritage Line will be modified and enlarged with siding storage.

My Facebook Diary is Geominster if anyone wants to view it please ask, it is a private group requiring acceptance, thanks.

This then is my third version modified which has been improved from previous efforts and lessons learned.

Geominster was my first project which has now been dismantled. Having learnt so much from  previous Geominster projects this is the latest one.

Latest Youtube video is here.

Certainly round my way we had Tonibell (bright pink Bedford van, Oxford do this one in the WRONG scale) and Rossi (orange and yellow MK2 Transit).

I used to know someone who converted vans into ice cream vans.  He would have been a good source of information on colour schemes etc.  Don't think I'm going to ask him though as he's going to kill me when he see's me!

You didn't buy any ice creams from him then  :D ;)

No icecreams but a generator!  Turned out to be a load of something smelly and half as useful..  Fell out due to conflict of professions.  Law v Criminality!  Can you guess who is which?

Or, in the words of the old song from Sonny Curtis and the Crickets "I fought the law and the Law won".
If it's not a Diesel Hydraulic then it's not a real locomotive.

Brewery dray.
Does anyone know if they have released details of this being done in liveries other than the S&N one currently available?  I would imagine this is a prime model for liveries of the former big six brewers and a host of smaller regional ones. Some barrels and kegs in addition to crates would enhance this model though.

I see the Chipperfield's Albion horse transporter is to be released again, and wonder if the range of circus vehicles will be widened?  I assume the upset, for want of another word, over using the Chipperfield's name has now been sorted out?  I'm still hoping for those iconic and very widespread Bristol K & L type buses with E.C.W. bodies to be done, but then we all have our personal wish list/s don't we!

Like the look of the Plaxton coach, but do the mirror arms stick out that far?
