So you've had a shower and need to wipe down the glass, and possibly the tiles, to keep it looking pristine.  A cloth is OK but how about this as an alternative?

A while back the front windscreen wipers on the car were replaced as one was falling to bits.  The broken wiper was thrown away and the good one was retained.

So if a wiper is good enough for clearing muck off a windscreen why not the inside of a shower cubicle?  A few wipes backwards and forwards and most of the condensation etc clinging to the cubicle is heading for the drain.

A weird idea perhaps but it makes one of lifes tedious jobs a bit easier.

That's why I keep a window squeegee in the shower, as you say it makes my life easier!

Good idea of yours and a lot cheaper!  Thankyou.

I too use a window squeegee in the shower and use it after every shower. No water marks or limescale deposits

Ditto, but one of the window ones that comes with a pole, as I'm far too lazy to actually bend down while cleaning the shower glass 8)

No but the glass bit goes down to floor level on one side so it involves bending over otherwise.

Ok, even though I'm on me tablet thingy and it's gettin' late here, I'm gonna hoe into this.

Mrs Bealman is currently on my back about one shower screen sheet of glass that just won't come clean.

It is almost like the soap scum has driven itself into pores in the glass, and no amount of scrubbing, squidgeeing, or solvents under the Aussie sun will get it off or out.

She's making noises about a new glass panel.

Ideas welcome!

Vinegar?
Have you tried any of that IPA you've got lying about near your layout? Just a thought.
Now I have a question. How do you get rid of that ugly black mould that attacks the tile grouting?
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

I find CIF cream cleaner is good for that kind of dirt with a green type pan scourer, may need a couple of goes...

I find bleach or a bleach based spray gun cleaner useful for getting rid of this.

Cillit Bang Limescale and Shine works well for us.  According to Wikipedia it's sold under the Easy-Off BAM label in Oz.

I agree we use it on our walk in shower gets rid of the black mould as well just squirt it on and leave for 10 minutes wash off, we are just trying a new shower spray, you have your shower then with switched off spray the glass seems to work quite well but will probably have to clean thoroughly once a month
