Hello from a French in China
« on: November 18, 2011, 04:35:17 PM »
Hi everybody

i decided to join the NGF as i read and wrote a little bit english and UK made scenary are so far the best i saw.
I,m an admirator of the 2mm scale modeler, as i like steam machinery.
i m currently settle in China (mainland), i leave my country ( Nice in France)
I use to do a paper made layout for a paper made air compressed tram. (see the blog i set up before i left, Blogspot is forbidden in Chna then it will be not updated soon.)

But right now i planed to set up a little simple layout with Chinese' republique steam Era scenary 1911 to 30', only a simple circle, with Bambou forest, temple and garden.

i will contribute to show you that.

Please forgive my english if it is not so limpid.

see you around.

bye

Hi again MonsieurE,

Thanks for your reply & yes, that is too far to travel.

I was planning to build a layout here but have had a lot of medical problems over the past 2 years so haven't progressed beyond baseboard construction. I have all my trackwork, locos & rolling stock (Brirish GWR) in boxes but just cannot get mobile enough to build the layout. However, I plan to go back to UK next Spring and hope to get a layout built there.
Regards,
Trevor (aka Chinahand)
