Ah yes indeed, but did I mention somewhere that I was into astronomy (UTC) as well, :) some of us remember the battle of the meridians and so obstreperously insist on using Greenwich :)

( I nolonger give my full calls in open media, ever since that stupid national society published the full call book with all our detailed addresses on CDrom and then sold it/them, with no "by your leave" ! )

Point of order 'onerable members,
has anyone noticed how few tick any more ?
Our house is quite silent.

Another thing, will our grandchildren's children even notice that the clocks change, when all will eventually be radio controlled. (or net controlled!)

Hmmm, or, there will be much nostalgia at stonehenge no doubt when they all gather to celebrate their ancestors ritual of going round the dwelling places changing all the time-pieces
Either that or some insomniac will notice strange goings-on at 2am intermittently and will blame aliens :)

I must admit to looking forward to the 20hours a day clock with its 10 day week and 5 week month and of course the 10 month year  :claphappy: :claphappy:

You're right the only clock that ticks is in the car (inset in the Walnut Dash)!

Even our Central Heating programmer changed on its own, and I have never noticed that before.
