Some really sensible ideas here though some are more likely to come from other sources - I'd love to see Farish do the STVA car carriers.

Cheers, Mike

Correct me if I am wrong (which I probably am to be honest) don't the NGS so the car carrier as a kit build?

Yes, Cartic 4 which is very nice, but an older car carrier than the new STVA carriers.

Cheers, M

If it's a modern wagon I could possibly buy a rake of them. MRA's or the Drax would be a definite. I really hope that it is an APT-E or a steam engine because I could do with a breather between the models I do want so that I can pay for them.

This is the only downside to the crowdfunding model, the money needs to be there before work starts, but too many models too quickly can have a negative effect as there is only so much money to go around.

But off to order my 1st LM 321 model and hope the early bird offer is still in action next pay day so I can get the second one.

Alistair

Hello folks

We are very conscious that people need to be able to able to stagger payments to be able to budget for models which is why we offer deposits on large ticket items (perhaps we need to also offer them for wagons as well where people are buying rakes).  We are trying to create a relatively stable and consistent release plan where we try not to overwhelm the market.

The early bird offer on  the 320/321s will be open until 30 June, then there will be a modest price increase.

Cheers, Mike

Hello all,

Just to add to Mike's comments, we are very conscious of avoiding market saturation, so while we are announcing a new product at York this will have an early-bird discount too, and we won't be announcing anything else until at least TINGS.

This is for three reasons:

1). As said above we don't want to ask too much of our customers.

2). We don't want to ask too much of ourselves!

3). We want to get some products actually out there!

Cheers

Ben A.

Hoping for the PCA cement wagon, though I'm pretty certain any modern image wagon will have my wallet on a diet again :)

How about a 4-wheel wagon???

My choice would be a Vanwide (VEA) - long service life, several possible liveries, vac- and air-braked options

Hello all,

So we are all set up for the York show tomorrow.  It runs tomorrow, Sunday and Monday and is being held in the grandstand of the city's racecourse.

It's a spectacular location for a show and we are up on the second floor mezzanine looking out over the racecourse itself.  In the shot above we are at the top of the first terrace between the two white pillars at this end.

We are stand 99, sharing with Rapido and just across from Locomotion. We are all set up with a 5-car Pendolino running (mainly due to reasons of space) along with our TEA samples and information about our upcoming models.

Cheers

Ben A.

Hi Kris,

Yes - at the Rapido end of the stand!!  I think it may be their Stirling Single or possibly an American one...

Cheers

Good luck at the show guys.
I've not been to the York show for many years but the one thing I remember is that those big windows turn the room into a sauna if its very sunny!

I expect the people going today are still enjoying themselves but does anyone know what the announcement is yet?

EDIT: Apologies, this already has a thread: http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=32486.0
