I have just looked at this (MY) picture on the site. The detail is incredible at my age you cannot read the printed detail. For you braver souls out there I can see that the flat bed is secured with two screws so this could possibly be adapted to other body types.
Some days its just not worth gnawing through the straps.

Hmm
I'm going to have to go off topic here to let you know how jealous I am of your location, Jerry!
Spent some happy days in Lucca 22 years or so, after cycling there from malpensa; eventually managed a revisit with the missus about 13 years ago, and its still an ambition to return with the kids and cycle around the walls with them in the spring sunshine, before having a long lunch in some olde worlde ristorante...

Oh, the lorries look really good too. I forsee a couple on our layout.

Well if you are in the area let us know beforehand there would be a glass of something or Tea . We are up in the mountains about 35km from Lucca. Too high up for cycling in my book ! Plenty of Restaurants nearby.

Would love that - consider it booked!
Now to try and direct the family holiday plans towards Italia...

Just spotted your flag ! We are across the valley from Barga "The most Scottish town in Italy" (as written on the signposts as you enter the town) so you would surely feel at home. My wife would be grateful to talk to a fellow sufferer , your other haalf that is ! :smiley-laughing:
