Videos can be seen here Derek. Plenty to see relating to everything Dave makes for the Megapoints system. I have to say though that you can't beat watching Dave demonstrate it in real life.

Finished wiring the power and network cabling for my Megapoints system and will test later this evening.

I received 2 new locos from a popular chap on the forum (Thanks @Newportnobby) who requested a video of them running. As they are both Freightliner locos I thought they should maybe haul some container wagons around my lower level tracks. I managed to dig out a few container wagons for this and again, as it was for Mick I used a soundtrack which I am sure he will appreciate.

Video quality is so much better this time, I think I'll stick with using the GoPro in future.

Edit: Maybe a little less light though

You mean like these from several months ago?

The class 57 copes easily with a few Yeoman wagons too it seems

Tested the Megapoints network too this evening and it all works

Nick meant and i have put my various coloured containers in different orders, eg NO 5 reds, then 5 blue. I mix mine up just like the prototype. Unless they are a bulk load for a single customer  in real life.

They donít use containers though, do they?

Yes, better, thanks! As said, itís incredibly rare to get a homogenous rake of containers, they tend to be pretty random. Bit different back in the 70s with the Freightliner red/white ones admittedly. Tongue was firmly in cheek though, donít worry, great to see nice long trains.

No wonder there is a shortage of containers in the shops.

Obviously no issues with haulage capacity, John.

No offence taken. Now that I have sensible rakes of the 3 Freightliner liveries I tend to run those together. The others are usually mixed up. That video was purely to test the loco.

They seem to go for a good price when they do sell so I see it as part of my pension pot should I ever need it  :D

Absolutely not Mick. I actually added a load more but it started to struggle pulling them around 4x 90 degreee turns so I gave up on that idea. The full length was around 12 metres (40' in old money) and it would have pulled them easily on a straighter track.

Tested my new soldering iron tonight and I have to say that from now on I'm an Antex man!

I finished soldering 1 row of pushbuttons on my servo panel, tested them and videoed them too. Not a very exciting video although it livens up a bit when my breakdown train climbs the wall whilst the oil tankers slide back down!

I think I need to look at my video editing program.

The video makes sense, since you have admitted that you're Ant Man.

Looking forward to the seeing your next Marvel movie.

I'm more Adam & the Ants man than Antman. Hard to believe I know with the usual background music but Stuart Goddard rules!
