Thanks for the good words chaps :D

A small magazine related update for today. Not only is Sheaf appearing in the next issue of Railway Modeller, but I have now found out that the layout is set to appear in the February issue of BRM. So this evening is being spent writing up the article to go with Andy York's superb images. Don't forget to treat yourself to a few mags over the next couple of months ;)

Cheers,

Ollie

Just read the excellent article in the current Railway Modeller about Sheaf. Well done Ollie. Some lovely photos and a great story.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Ah well, I suppose I'll drop an email. Looks good though Ollie!  :claphappy:

The Article is in BRM this month.
I assume it is the same article, as I did not read it in RM as I let my subscription slip.

Well done, great article and pics.

Steve

This reminds me to re-subscribe to RM.

    :beers:

Evening all,

Thanks for all the good words about the articles! Really chuffed with how they've turned out (Pardon the pun)

The Article is in BRM this month.
I assume it is the same article, as I did not read it in RM as I let my subscription slip.

It is a different article. Both cover roughly the same, but I wrote them both separately so they aren't word for word the same.

In other layout news some building has been happening! In Preparation for the 2015 Season some changes are occurring, all will be revealed soon!!

Cheers,

Ollie

I am new to this forum and for the last 2 nights have read this whole thread from start to finish. I have really enjoyed seeing it from the start, and how it has evolved over time. I have even bought a copy of BRM LOL! It is layouts like yours that inspire us all to model, and I will certainly look forward to seeing it in it's flesh at Scotland when I'm not stewarding on the door  :) Keep up the good work, you certainly have me intrigued with it's next update

Regards  Tony
