Tough one!

Both are very well made programs but my own preference would be for Thomas...the pre-CGI version because while it retains a lot of the character and charm of the original it just "don't look right" !

Chuggington is OK but is just like so many kids recent kids programs...no originality and treats the kids like fools!

I will ask the same question of a five year expert on the topic later today!

Prefer thomas pre cgi.

As for chungington and cgi Thomas ' it isnt wrong but we just dont do it!'

Pre-CGI Thomas has to win, I think. But I have a bone to pick with Ringo Starr, because now whenever I read the books to my boys James's voice always comes out sounding like Steven Gerrard....

...and Emily sounds like Dame Maggie Smith as Miss Jean Brodie...

Thomas, despite the clearly hideous safety record on Sodor railways.

Chuggington spend half their time air borne (i have a 5 year old daughter so have to watch) and multi-storey depots.

It is a total bag of :poop: , CGI at that.

Bit biased me  :)

It's got to be Ivor the engine.   :D:D

Ah, glenng, Ivor the Engine... you've taken me back 35 years!

"Hello Mr Jones, are you selling chestnuts?"

"No, I'm selling dragons!"

"Ooooh, I bet they're expensive...!"

Sigh... :)
