You could get away with it, if your branch is freight only by reversing into it. This would also save two sets of points at the quarry end.

Well after a short delay, :-[ :-[ here is what I've been up to, I have laid all the track and thoroughly tested it as well as installing point motors, seep variety as cobalt alphas were too expensive.... the raised section for the town is in place with suitable hatch to clean track under etc.   The hill is nearing completion as shown in the picture, it has 2 linked removable parts for track access again.   I have to work out what to do at the end of the branch line, I'm thinking a dairy at the moment but that may change.   It has been a stop start kind of progress so far what with family and work but I will try to be more active with my updates, hope the pic comes out with work so far.

It certainly is looking pretty good.
If it looks right then it most probably is right.

Hi All,

Just for info I have a YouTube channel about my layout, it's a bit basic at the moment but it has 2 videos so far with my progress etc so if you are interested pop over and check it out hope you like it and subscribe if you want, just like an old billy goat (well I'am a Capricorn) I'm butting heads with technology but as time goes on I hope to get better acquainted and do a better job of it so please bear with me, its called "Skippy ab" and my layout is currently called Skippyville but this will change sometime in the future, when I figure out how to put a link here I will....... :dunce:
