Trying and failing to remove the body of this coach* in order to the fix the chip.

Then one of the bogies comes off!

Trying to refit bogie when PING the stud (not) fixing it to the body flys across the room never to be found again. :veryangry2:

Anyone know where I can get replacement studs (if that's what they are called) from?

Also still cant get the body off! :veryangry:

You need to remove two screws to release the body. The water tank filler pipes are attached to the body not the chassis, so no need to touch them.

Thanks Caz I had forgotten about the screws :dunce:

Thanks for that link Mike

Not only does it show the screws but I didnt know about the self centring wire for the couplings so it explains why I drew blood when I picked up what I thought was a bit of plastic  from a clothes label.

Now I have  retrieved it and stored it with the displaced bogie pending acquiring a stud to fix that with, I've  emailed BR Lines in the hope he stocks them.

You can probably fit a small bolt in place of the stud, drilling the holes out a little if necessary.
