3D Printing another entery
« on: September 03, 2011, 09:33:00 PM »
I have been working on a couple of 3D projects and thought it was time to share them. It must be said at the beinging that they are not my handy work. Someone who knows 3D CAD and printing has done them for me.
Here goes 1st up Nn3 wagons

These Nn3 wagons willl come with wheel setts and etched coupling many more to follow.

2nd is a GWR designed but built by BR S13 Insix Fish Van

The fish van uses the NGS 6 wheel Stove R Chassis, 3D Printed Body, Etched ladders and walkways and transfers.

I would like to thank Paul Martin for taking and suppling these picture.

Richard

Very good!  It seems that everyone is secretly having a go.  I'm so far behind! :smiley-laughing:

Also look at blender

There are a few free 3D render/design tools now that are pretty good.

It still makes my head hurt compared to 2D CAD though.
