Very nice indeed. I like the look of those locomotives but can't justify buying one... :-\

Yup, agreed, looks very nice. Saw a full size one a couple of years ago at a roundhouse open day, DB engaging with the enthusiast community. Impressive looking machine. I can probably resist because I'm modelling epoch 3b/4, but more pictures always welcome!

Finger slipped on the DM-Toys website, again... anyway, these Fleischmann hoppers really are excellent value whether you get them from Germany at €12.90 each or from a UK retailer. Since ordering these, DM Toys have put together some offer bundles, so if you're tempted do have a look at those too (usual disclaimer - no connection, just had good service. Other offers may be available...). I ordered three items; single wagons items 852320 and 852321, plus the newly released pair, item 852416. This means that I have four wagons, each with a different running number. The detail is exquisite; I'd seen these described as "entry level", which I suspect is just Fleischmann's description of "low priced".

The Falns 183 design is larger than the Fads 167 modelled by Minitrix, as evidenced here:

While I was ordering the wagons, mysteriously I seem to have added a DB bus to the order  :) :

The other thing that arrived this morning was my credit card bill...

From my recent European trip:

DB class 232 (ex DR-132) and some DR "Reko" coaches. All Brawa models, locomotive was 2nd hand. Slight era mismatch, alas. (I did also get a DR-liveried loco but it died on me already :( )

If I can't work out what's wrong with it, I'll have to send it back I guess.

More stock to follow once I get it out...
