Saw a good bit on how they filmed scenes of the lord of the rings with "frodo" and "gandalf" in the same scene on the cart early on in the movie.  Was hoping it wasn't all cgi -interested to see they were on set together in a T shaped cart (and presumably small enough aperture so they were both in the same DOF) .  Good one re: the "McGurk Effedt" though. Fascinating.

[Bealman]

The ability to create illusions is not just limited to Peter Jackson - it seems to be common to all New Zealanders. This is a tourist attraction in Wanaka in the South Island of NZ, which I visited in 2008.

Mrs B makes Bealman feel his usual size in the place of things:
