I got chance to set up and take a few more photos today.

I also got notification through the post today that Horseblock Lane won Gold in Class I at the Annual Model Making Competition this year.  :bounce:

It seems better with each succeeding photo. Gold richly deserved - well done!  I would love to see a track-plan.

Thank you Phil.  :-[

The track plan is all pretty much on show in the photos. All the points on the front stage are on show (bar one) in the picture of the Freightliner 66 leaving. I can post a picture of the back if you want to see the full track plan, but it's not as pleasant to look at as the front.  :worried:

Neal.

Hi Cooper and welcome to both you and Callum to our merry band. I saw your layout at the AGM and was well impressed both with the overall layout design and the level of detail you have achieved. A great layout and the Gold Award was fully justified.

Thank you for posting the additional photos,  I can only echo the positive comments that have already been posted but will add that I especially like the subtle silhouette effect on the backscene and Congratulate you on been awarded Gold.

 :beers:

I must confess that usually I'm nearly as interested in people's fiddle yard arrangements as I am in the layout itself - so bring it on - please!

Cheers,
Phil

Phil,

Some views, as requested. Holes in the backscene are (left to right) access to point motors that throw the points for the platform or yard headshunt.

Middle, is the rail access under the bridge.

Right hand one allows wagons for repair to be swapped out for repaired ones. Gives a bit more play value!

Cheers, Neal.

Thanks Neal! Interesting.  Simpler than I'd expected - I'd fancied there might be more sidings or else cassettes to make switching stock quicker.
