Have you bought your ticket?

Yep, same numbers as usual.

My biggest win so far...

...£2.60 a few weeks back!

Here's hoping...

poliss · June 29, 2011, 05:09:37 PM

It isn't Friday today???

Are you sure? It feels like Friday.

Lottery (noun) - a tax on stupid people

.. I'll keep putting my pennies into savings thanks (or beer), both of which have a better return

Apparently you have got as much chance of being killed by a donkey than you have of winning the lottery!

Only ever bought one lottery ticket in my life.
Didn't win so haven't bothered since !

longbridge · June 30, 2011, 01:58:34 AM

Crikey that makes our lousy 30 million Aussie $$$$ jackpot sound a bit weak, but I would love to win it.

poliss · June 30, 2011, 02:01:57 AM

I must have won over £200 since the lottery started, including £76.00 from a free to enter one.
I reckon I've made quite a bit more than I've spent. I'm ahead on fruit machines too.

Geoff · June 30, 2011, 10:25:57 AM

I won £1300 on the lottery on the 5th draw, we were over the moon and we had a holiday in spain on our lucky win, the most we have ever won since has been £10, but the Euro millions is one of them lotterys where you really need to be very lucky to even get anything.

But hey if your not in it you cannot win it.

galway · June 30, 2011, 05:29:30 PM

I wouldnt bother having a go if I were you, I understand the winner is coming from Ireland this Friday.

poliss · June 30, 2011, 05:38:44 PM

Did they rename Newcastle to Ireland while I wasn't looking? Wouldn't surprise me.
I encourage people to buy as many tickets as possible. Increases my winnings.

galway · June 30, 2011, 06:39:09 PM

My father is from Newcastle - County Wicklow are you any relation?

jonclox · June 30, 2011, 08:11:19 PM

Not worth it.
They only pay out eurines and not proper £GB
Pubs and shops dont take eurines round here
