:claphappy: Hi to all, had a very enlightening time, reading the many threads of various forums on this site. Well I have taken the plunge and ordered a Merseyside Express Set from Hattons, most sites offered the set at between £120 - £150, but Hattons site listed it at £104. I intend to build a small town terminus station and will be using code 55 but I will need a test track for any future locos I buy. So the track will be good for that, it gives me a cheap and limited capability power controller (will do for now) and two Mk1 blood and custards. Finally the prototype Deltic is unlikely to have visited the type of station I intend to model,  though it does fall in the time span I am modelling and also I travelled up and down the East Coast Mainline many, many time in the late 60's and 70's behind a growling Deltic so I have a personal connection. Well a bit long winded, but I feel a little like a kid at christmas. Will keep you all informed and hopefully soon will start my own thread on the - Layouts being planned - thread.
Regards and thanks to all for the inspiration and friendship given to this new member.
