I seem to have survived and I've done more on Kirkholme in the past three days than in the previous six months so here's to the next apocalypse.  :beers:

All is well down under - as much as it can be anyway. Just the usual boring sunny start to the day with temps expecting to hit around 28/29 today, possibly warmer tomorrow

I have a condition called haemachromatosis which is too much iron in the blood. The treatment involves having to dump a bag of blood monthly (which goes straight in the bin), in order to bring the iron content down. Anyway.... it turns out my iron content has gone back up in the last month, and the doc has told me to lay off red meat and cut down on the booze. I explained to him that it was nothing to do with my love of steak and beer, but was caused by the reversal of the Earth's magnetic field that occurred on the 21st, but the b*g**r wouldn't listen.....  :'(

Hope you were honest with how much beer you drink as doctors tend to double what you tell them as people lie. So, if you've been honest then when they say cut down you can stay exactly where you were. Honesty is the best policy...hic!  :beers:

Also its Turkey and sprouts week, next week, so you can detox (well fart) yourself better!

Not belittling your condition so please don't be offended.

Hope all you aussies have a lovely time in the sun but it wouldn't be same here without floods, sleet and general traffic chaos. As Noddy Holder shrieks ITS CHRISTMAS!!

Happy Christmas Weave

Sorry to read that some of you guys aren't so well. Hope it doesn't spoil your Christmases too much.

I regularly get chest infections which along with other stuff can be a real pest. Recovering from one just now so hope it will be clear in the next few days.

Merry Christmas and a Healthy and Happy New Year to all N Gaugers wherever you may be.

:beers:

Hey you guys!

Especially you northern hemisphere types - all is well here! Too much iron in me blood..... I'd better start crossin' over to the Iron Horse, like Trainsdownunder!!

Have a Merry Christmas all of ya... I took a picture of the Christmas Tree in the middle of Sydney when I was up there on Monday (before the end of the world) and will try and get it on here. Nothing like London's, unfortunately (it's plastic!!).

Best wishes to all of you and your families for the season.

George  :beers:

Did have a gastro-intestinal apocalypse a couple of nights before, most probably a dose of the noro.
They're there for their tea.
