Snap Jon - don't fancy my trip to the hospital on Friday,  Angiogram and chest xrays.
Dont mind the tests its just the car park fees and the waiting to be seen -never on time

Good luck with the Angiogram Mike certainly not the most comfortable thing you can have done.
Keep on Smiling
Dave.

If the world is going to end, are the bookies taking bets?

Its a win win situation for them if you think about it!  :smiley-laughing:

Just don't go out and party or get drunk on Thursday you might just get booked for drink driving on Friday.
Or at the very worst you may have to face the end of the world with a hangover!
Anyone else find it apt that it's a Thursday ... ... ...  :confused2:

Not one to burst the bubble here, but the Mayans or whatever they are called forgot about one small thing.
LEAP YEARS.
So,with all the stuff going about the world ending on the night of the winter solstice, someone calculated that with world being in existence for millions of years,it should have ended around 435 years ago!
So we might be out of the woods then.
I'm going to stay at home and convert my Farish class 40 whistler to dcc sound on friday and wait for the world to not end and go out with my mate who is back on UK soil for christmas, who works in Doha.

In all honesty I think the world ending on Friday 21st is a load of bunkum, someone must be making loads of money out of selling books and making documentaries on the subject, the doomsday lovers lap it up big time.

They seem to tie Nostradamus and ancient tribes together and come up with something created by their imagination, Nostradamus hey  ??? I think any one of us could sit and write a few hundred prophesies down and in a few hundred years time many of them will have happened.

As they said on the radio earlier, the Mayans weren't so hot on predicting their own demise so why should they get this right??

I booked Friday 21st Dec off months ago as a joke - One of my fellow drivers is well into this sort of thing and got on his soap box and spread the word.... for about a week ! So for a giggle I booked the day off, turns out this is a good thing as i broke my phone last weekend and now i can pick it up on friday. Then i can call my fellow driver and go......

"Still here !!!"  :laugh2: :nerner:
If it's got rails... you have my full, undivided attention - Steam, diesel and electric, 'tis all good !
