Greetings,
I'm affraid not. IIRC Dapol did consider making one but the wheelbase is shorter than the plastic frog on a Peco Insulfrog point so it just wouldn't work on many layouts.

Thanks Gareth

Yea I remember Dapol did try back many moons ago
Just wondered if anybody did one now with the use of electrafrogs

Feasibly you could make it work if you used pick up whiskers (thin wire that gives extra pickup at the front or rear of the loco) or a match/shunters truck with pickups giving it extra power.

Don't the 009 guys use an 0-4-0  chassis

I`ve got a Peco kit built on an Arnold chassis and it runs pretty well with electrofrog points. They turn up very rarely now unfortunately.(Unless someone knows differently!)

Jonny

Mokjumbo is yours a N gauge or 009/narrow gauge??

Any pictures Please

Thanks

I've got an Arnold köf II and you'd  be hard pressed to find a shorter wheelbase RTR loco.
Its never struggled with set track insulafrog points unless the blades are dirty .

Not used this myself but try these guys for an alternative 0-4-0 chassis in n gauge: http://www.n-driveproductions.com/rangeandprices.htm

I did try it once - even did a test brass N gauge pug body, but the pug in N is truely tiny.

The wheels are 3ft on the L&Y ones and the wheelbase under 6'

So you'd need a chassis with 11mm wheelbase which N drive now do and you'd somehow have to get a motor in and get it running reliably and heavy enough. You'd probably have to use a micromotor and make the boiler the actual motor (a trick the 2mm folks do for some things).

It would be incredibly cool however.

Peco saddletank - way bigger than a pug.. Pugs are tiny - think loomed over by the terrier...
