Bit of a long shot...........

Iron Fairey cranes were really popular in the 60s and 70s but quite a few are still in existence today.  I'm hoping that these might of been something P&D Marsh (or the like)  might of made years ago in some form of white metal kit  :hmmm:

Does anyone know if they or something similar were ever made??

Does anyone have anything buried in their bits box they'd be willing to part with?

Any information is greatly appreciated

Hi Craig

Can Snoci-73 not 3D print this for you, or have you already asked?

He's currently working on ' another project' for me but has done some damage to his eye. He is recovering well but after the effort this has taken I reckon I'll give him some time off  :uneasy:

There was this. Closer to HO of course, but might be copyable as a scratch build?

Variants seem to have got larger over time too: https://tractors.fandom.com/wiki/BHCC_Iron_Fairy

That brings back fond memories - there was one of those in use around the factory site where I worked in the 1990s. It didn't belong to the company, but to another company contracted to work long term on site. One of their guys had to drive it (Max speed 12mph) from Manchester to Cornwall for a job once!
