I've put the Köf painting away for a couple of days, so that I can look at it with fresh eyes again and make final tweaks.

Are you still considering adding overhead wires Matt?
If I was capable of creating such a great piece of artwork I think I would be happy as it was.

Actually yes, they have gone in. I can't shy away from painting catenary, as it will be required for future electric loco paintings I do!

Now that I have seen the overhead wires added I'm relieved. They don't detract from the original subject at all. In fact, I think they add a bit of subtle interest to the sky. Lovely painting Matt.
