Oops.

Another apology. Sorry @Roy L S you actually told me twice that it fitted.

Blimey, I'm in my 'senior moments' phase.

And so young...

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

----------------------------------------------------------

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

I think I'd need full board for that money! My quote was sort of based on personal experience many years back when I splashed out £150 on a Halfords compressor to spray my models and a friend said that was a huge amount of money, and that she'd come round and blow for £100 a session! I think that would have quite different meanings these days.....

Full board! Who do you think you are, the Station Master?

Yoikes!

I was thinking a cuppa every hour on the hour, and some authentic Travellers Fare (remember them?) cheese and tomato sandwiches. Maybe one of those giant cookies if you were 'authentic' on the sound front.

Your friend sounds interesting...

I also got bitten by the sound bug and spent a small fortune converting my fleet of steam and diesel models.

Then suddenly one day I realised that all I was doing was occasionally turning the sound on for a few minutes, then got board and turned them off, in my railway room they overpowered and got unpleasant for anything other than a few minutes, or was just turned on to show someone what these little models can do these days but that was it, but were too quite for exhibition use.

So one day in a fit of Madness I sold all my sound models and actually got back everything I had paid out so we able to not only replace everything with nice new silent models but also had enough money to almost double the number I had.

I quite enjoy the peace and quiet now.
