Hi,

I joined this forum in 2017 following a clear out of my loft and discovering my old Farish N-gauge locos and rolling stock. I had big plans to get back into model railways and get a layout on the go; went to a show held by the local Area Group..... and then nothing further.

My main hobby/interest is flying motor gliders and light aircraft; in 2017 I added the Single Engine Piston rating to my Touring Motorglider license, became more involved in running the flying club I belong to and carrying out training to allow me to give introduction flights to members of the public who buy gift vouchers for flying in light aircraft.

Recently, whilst being furloughed from work, I bought a copy of Model Rail and my interest in N-gauge is back. I've got everything down from the loft again, ordered RailMatch paints from Howes and also a Farish train set so that I can test run my old Farish locos (if they still run).

Hopefully I'll progress further than 2017 but I am enjoying reading the forum again.

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.
